3 Cast Iron Horses

    A group of 3 cast iron horses, no maker's marks that I can find. Largest measures 5 1/2" long and is 5" tall. medium horse measures 4" long and is 3 3/4" tall. Smallest horse measures 3 1/2" long and is 3" tall.

    I do know that Japan exported cast iron miniature horses, I think starting in the 50s? These look like examples to me. But they ought to be marked. Googling now. :)

    Having my doubts... yours are more realistic and better-rendered than the Japanese ones I'm looking at...

    I don't think they are cast iron.
