    Thank you @charlie cheswick, I think I got it as clear as I could without changing anything on the plate!! AND I just made that one and another a bit lighter! Have been at it a LOOOONG time today, trying to get them all set....and there's more to come!!!!!:jawdrop::happy: I'm bleary eyed at this point!!!!:hilarious:

    Looks like a hi-end collector w/a good eye & decent purse.I know zero bout plates,but these look early & nice-Old East Coast or UK (i'm just guessin').

    Nice to have that piece of paper. You don't usually see such a clear connection to an image source. Where does the paper come from? According to the dates, Markell was 14 when he did that painting, and 23 when he died. Some life. My conspiratorial mind whispers that his may be a copy of another image but, for the time, he may have been painting as a source of income since he was old enough to produce an image someone might be willing to buy.
