Note that this is all or nuthin', don't have time to entertain the tire kickers, only want one real hoarder with a pickumup truck. https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/zip/6306578071.html
Good luck with that...............the last time I had the same conditions (there was stuff you had to pay to recycle, but enough other stuff for a profit), I personally helped them load up so that I could ensure that they took it ALL .................and came out the door two hours later to find the hard to get rid of stuff back on the sidewalk in front of my building.................
Looks like a load of problem waste. We have a place here that popped up where we can just dump it overnight behind their building.
Thanks. Only posted it about three hrs ago and already there are five parties that say they want it all. Well, four really, one says he "might be interested" so not gonna consider him.
We called first who emailed who has agreed to pickup today, told him we'd do brief contract on video where he agrees to take stuff at least 1 mi. and dispose of it legally, and we give him $1. to validate the verbal contract, and get his car license in the video. We gave only an approximate address, they call us from there then we go find the car they described and complete the deal. Other emails we got wanting it, we answered with: "Thanks, we have given it away already, if they are no-show, will email u again. Juan" We do some of the little things mentioned above for security/liability reasons because CL is full of fraudsters and who knows what else.
That went really smooth, guy showed up on time and we slid the two mega-sized plastic storage containers off the forklift into the back of his Honda Oddessy (sp?). I didn't bother with the verbal contract stuff because I could tell immediately he was an honest guy and wouldn't cause me problems. He plans to try selling the items. He drove about 3 hrs r/t to get them. There were about 15 emails from other wanters and I answered them: "Hi, am sorry but the first reply person showed up and took the material. Thanks for your interest. Juan"
...and here's hoping he makes some money with it. Old motherboards can be worth recycling for the metals, if nothing else. The old metal and resin ones can be made into jewelry and other things as they sit too.
That reminds me - I gotta do something with this HP signal generator. About 150 pounds. Was $20,000 new in 1970. Hardly a saleable component in it.
