    One would think with that price, they would have taken more pics. :)
    I have no idea if they are rare or not, but have it on my watch list.

    That's just dumb.

    If everyone puts it on their watch list it'll probably get 'em excited though.:cool:

    Hi,
    I had personally sold the Madrid cold cut coasters for 125 bucks each but that was back in 2001.
    I really do not think that Dunbar set goes together. The glasses are fine but that tray was part of a caster set if I remember right.
    Last week I was looking for a cheap 6" Ace bandage and found an ad for 3 ace bandages for $9999.99. I wrote to the person and they had a fit, never realizing the price which was supposed to be $9.99.

    Seller's FB as a seller is zero, "rare" is mentioned many times in desc. so this poorly-informed seller does mean $2495.

    I remember way back when a friend and I were browsing Shupp's Grove in Pa. My buddy spotted just one of the Madrid "hot plate"/coasters. He snagged it for 2 bucks and sold it a couple minutes later for $200+ to Barbara Mauzy who we bumped into strolling the isles. I gotta say she and her husband were GOOOD buyers :). (Late late 90s.)

    Depends on who actually signed it, didn't say he did, and is it black and white, color or hand tinted. ;)

    The word 'rare' is just that isn't it. I've just typed it so it's for sale. Anyone? It's rare! GOTTA be worth a lot....of what...I don't know but still.... ;) I'll take a check! ;)
    I have an ebay search for something and the same item keeps coming up as rare... :vomit:

    Like the rare oil painting I have for sale. Only $1,000,000. I only have to sell ONE.

    If the word rare has become so ubiquitous as to have lost it's meaning what do you say if you have something that truly IS rare?

    "Rare" is a common term in my spoken vernacular among the trade, if not my written word.

    You still write rare...but back it up with great photo's and a solid description....and those clients you're looking to attract ....will know what it is !

    It's the eBayers who write " I've never seen another one like it ! " , that get me laughing ! ....when 3 more show up in the same search !

    What....you live in a cave ??? :hilarious::hilarious:
