that could be a hard box to find.......... ws it even considered collectible at the time ?

 

I don't know. I remember seeing them on the shelf in the store, and I have the penny, but no box that I know of. I'm a lifetime coin collector so can't believe I don't have one of those boxes somewhere.

 

5.5 billion pennies......... no wonder we stopped using ours..

I stopped eating breakfast - nothing but "added" sugars and preservatives in boxed and pre-packaged breakfast foods. Actually that crap is in anything you get from the middle isles of a store. Keep your shopping to the "outside" perimeter of the stores and you have a pretty decent chance of a healthy life (hopefully).
By cutting out breakfast I went from 235 a few years ago to a maintained weight of 170. My knees and hips that the doctors told me I needed replaced have thanked me with very little pain anymore.

 

My only sweets now due to a very restricted diet are Lucky Charms and Sweetarts.
Other than that, haven't had cake, bread, bakery food or any other good stuff for over 8 years. I was always thin so that was never an issue. My diet leaves a lot to be destired.

I read online they are suspending making some types of Cheerios.
If they take away Lucky Charms, I am not going to be happy.

 

that's what happens when you put out 18 flavours ....and one with crunchy bits... and vegetables..... and.....

in boxes the size of hardcover books.... for 7 dollars each..!!!

 

I've had a hankerin' for this stuff for 60-plus years ! Curse those corporate *****
