What does the back look like? Could be rafael but last 3 look to be "oal"

Portraits. Both signed lower right. Dimensions: 7.25 "high x 10.25" wide . Condition: Good.

I was guessing at the last name as Solosy, and it looks like the auctioneer was too. That's the best I've come up with so far.

 

Does look like surname is "Solosy." Hungarian in origin. And a charming set of paintings.

Well, seems like the seller could not sell them and they ended in the local thrift store. I also donate items that I cannot sell but I keep them for a good time before I do that. Sometimes I have luck on Ebay after years of listing the same piece.
By the way, the seller says they are both women, are they?

Look to be women. And Andean. Regional costumes of Ecuador I would think. (Here's a photograph of traditional hat from Pichincha province which is same as woman's hat above.) I did search South American search engines but couldn't find a "Rafael Solosy" anywhere, nor a Solosy family. As to paintings, just a question of finding the right buyer I would think. `
