2 Peking Glass Bowls

I call them peking glass but there may be other term. Any idea of maker, origin etc?

 

Look like milk glass to me and rather new.

 

I don't think they are Peking glass.
You might look at Steuben, Webb, Fry.
The picture of the polished pontil isn't very clear. They could be new as George says.

 

I guess it could be called milk glass. Not the classic thick and molded one. It's hard to take a picture of the bottom.It may look like polished pontil but it is not.

There is also glass like McBeth Evens Cremax and a a couple of others that imitated the Fry Foval appearance.

 

Maybe it's just me but I sometimes think of semi opaque as being clambroth.

 

Right, SIS. Milk Glass is opaque.
