2 Of 3: Small Leather Mask; Unsigned.

    She's about 8 inches long, 5 inches wide. The 3 string-loops came with her, hanging from the 'curls' in her headdress...an' I wonder if they aren't a fanciful addition by a past owner. Compared to #3 in this series, she doesn't have much of a story, with me, anyway. But when I searched this site for "leather Mask" I drew a blank, so she's at least that special. Thanks for lookin'!

    Brazilian. I had one that looked like La Belle Inconnu before I gave her away. She had Brazilian markings on the back.

    Where's that thread I had about the mask my neighbour thought was First Nations, but was leather and made in Mexico or somewhere south? Looked a lot like this -- artisan stuff.
