2 metal enameled plates

These metal or copper enameled plates do not have any markings, anyone know what kind of plates these are ?

Generally listed under copper enamel.
Time period 1970ish.

Looks like they may attach to a frame of some sort.

Both production ware and home hobbiest made

 

'Harlequin' came to me, but doesn't seem to be useful as a search term.

 

These could be Bovano. They're a company in Cheshire, CT that's still around and producing enameled metal ware. It seems to all be home dec sculpture now, but they used to make lots of bowls, plates etc. http://www.bovano.com/company-history.html

 

I don't think it is a replica. Looks like what I thought attached to something is actually for cigarettes.
