I purchased 2 woodblock prints from the goodwill for a $1.99 each. One has a tear that I think can be stabilized from the back fairly easily. I suspect that they are from the 1950's. Was hoping that someone recognized the artist. I searched a bit but didn't run across the artist. I am working on trying to get everything in my collection documented, so the next owner won't have to do the work again. IMG_1368.jpg IMG_1369.jpg IMG_1370.jpg

Very lucky purchase for that price! They are of Maiko (Geisha apprentice) and by Sadanobu Hasegawa, the marks are for Uchida (the publishing house). You are correct about the 1950's.
