2 Encaustic Style Still Life Paintings

    Don't know if Encaustic is the right term. The surface is resin like, very hard. Not finding signatures.

    Encaustic art is usually made from wax (which will melt if you leave it near heat), encaustic tiles are made from clay. Not sure what your things are, may be a thick gesso or hard crystocal plaster to give texture with oil paint on top.
