2 Brass Rattle/Bangles: Are They Anything Out of The Ordinary?

These came to me together with 2 other 'rattles' of cast brass. Those others will get their own post, subsequently.
Question: Does 'Tribal Art' refer only to the Americas (north, central, south) or are global tribes legitimate inclusions under that heading?

The 1st is ~2 3/8" OD, ~1" ID, ~3/4" thick; ~89 grams. The 2nd is 2 piece, ~4 1/4" OD plus lugs, ~2 1/2" ID, ~3/4" thick; ~276 grams.
Both are apparently musical bangles, one for a finger or thumb, the other for a wrist or ankle; both filled with crude round shot, the small one with iron, the large one with brass.

I'll guess from sub-continent India, an' I believe the other 2 are as well.
Based on what I've seen of brass castings from that area, these could be really contemporary...or have some good age to them. The small one is much more smoothly finished in the torus an' the teeth around the rim, showing few tool marks; the larger is smoothly use-polished, and shows heavy tool marks...whether any of that is indicative of age, or locale, will be upon y'all to determine.
