2 Bird Music Boxes-any ideas,opinons ?

Two Thorens music boxes,both i presume,designed by Fred Zimbalist.One's $200 on local Craigslist ('silver over bronze'),the other went for $1950 at auction.
Very,very similar,but the workmanship on the cheaper seems very 'so-so'.The case of both looks Indian/Pakistani.

I think its mostly just the polishing and lighting/camera angles that make the ebth one look better.

Seems like a decent deal at $200 for the local one.

 

It caught my eye Komo.They're both cool,Anglo-Indian vibe,prob 20th century.The cheaper one's listed as 'silver over bronze',the more expensive piece says simply 'metal'.The expensive one's got finer filigree,but $1750 worth ?
I've never been a Music Box guy,but do really like the funky faux-Victorian look of the $200 one.
Main question is does the price difference make sense ?

Thanks Kronos-you've put it all in perspective.The $200-$300 price is reasonable,the $1950 sold amount's just one of those wacky online aberrations.
Glad i wasn't on the buying end of this sale !
PS-Just didn't want to leave a possible $1700 on the table.Our stellar board members come thru again.
