Featured 2 Balinese Carved Wood Figures

    The praying one, maybe later?

    The first one is Balinese Art Deco. It is very simple, but has all the characteristics of the early period, 1930s. Pity it is broken, that lowers the value significantly.
    I collect Balinese Art Deco, my avatar is late Balinese Art Deco.

    The second one is a lower quality Makonde carving from East Africa, 1970s or later. Maybe made in a mission. Part of a nativity set?

    About 9 1/4" tall.
