    hi forks

ive posted this prunus jar / lamp before. but before selling it i was tempted to open it up to see what was on the base

from what ive looked into, it appears to be a 4 character kangxi mark, but there seems to be examples of 19c jars with this mark

can anyone tell if this one is a 19c example as well, if so im happy to sell it back as a lamp

    its a medium size one

    any thoughts appreciated

Looks like a late 19th century example, the script is too sloppy for a Kangxi piece.
