1980's(?) Painted Leather Jacket made in England

    I found this today at a local thrift store ! It looks like it's hand painted?
    There are no factory tags to tell who made it, only a leather care tag with Made in England on it, too.

    Any idea of maker? Age? Coolness?!

    That is so 1980s. No RN? If not, there's no way to determine maker. I'd assume customized by owner.

    Unique find J,looks like Mod Sorcerer's Apprentice to me.Agree w/ Deborah,most likely 70's-80's.

    Very ‘Starlight dinner’ 80’s. That’s so uniquely terrible it’s actually a bit cool. Must be a full on custom design job!

    Thank you guys! I like the Ziggy Stardust & sorcerer's apprentice reference (I have to look up starlight dinner; movie?)
    Since there are no references i can check, can I ask what you guys (& girls) would pay for it?

    PS - the arms look a little short to me; were mid forearm sleeves popular?
