Does anyone recognize the signature on the 1979 cranberry jack in pulpit with a hint of iridescence? Height just shy of 6" . Thank you! JIP.jpg JIPSIG.jpg

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

The end of the sig looks like it says "U. H." followed by something like Manor or Manon. In a search, the suggestion "U. H. Manoa" popped up. And that would be University of Hawaii - Manoa. Apparently that university does have a big glass studio where students melt down old glass and make new art from it. I found this fairly recent article. https://www.hawaii.edu/news/2019/04/02/old-glass-into-new-art/

Since 1979 was 40 years earlier, this may or may not be relevant. But it's possible the first word in the signature is either the title of the piece or the name of a student, followed by the name of the university?
