1958? Se Yei(Say-Yay) sugar bowl

    IMG_0886.JPG IMG_0892.JPG IMG_0887.JPG IMG_0891.JPG Please inform me about this piece. Top seems to not quite be large enough to stay in place on top of bowl. I assume it is a sugar bowl. Is this correct?

    Yes it is a porcelain sugar bowl, part of a tea set, the shape is inspired by earlier 20th century curved up handle styles from 1910 or so.

    There is quite a bit of this on replacements.com and elsewhere. Look for Seyei, one word.

    I could have bought more of the set but many pieces had chips and such, i will look on replacements.com when i get home thanks
