    May I ask where you got 50's from ? To me,it looks more 70s-80s but regardless,I LOVE it!

    Are those "fiber optic" style filaments on the fixtures? I too want to see it lit.

    Its too bright out now...I think it will show better tonight & I will take some pics...Yes Bakersgma...Those are clear fibers.

    Paul Secon did lucite & string lamps for Sompex, I don’t know if this is one of his designs though.

    the Lucite art of the 1960's & 70's

    Gabo may have been the inspiration ...but several companies ...like Fox Studios..adapted this look to lighting and sculpture in the late 60's and early 70's.....

    How well does the photo capture what you see in the room with it? Is there more diffusion of the light on the monofilament Lucite rings than we're seeing?
