1936 Gold Dust Coupon

Hey folks

Has anyone ever seen one of these? I've seen a fair amount of Gold Dust products, originals and replicas over the decades, but I've never seen one of these. It came in a large pack of ephemera that the wife picked up from a retiring dealer.

I think the most interesting thing is the choice of languages on the back: German, Polish, Italian, and Hebrew. I'm guessing that the coupon was from NYC, either north Brooklyn or lower Manhattan.

There's no evidence of it online that I can find, not with Google, at ebay or worthpoint. With no point of reference, I haven't got a clue on how to valuate it...

It would have been printed for the product launch of Gold Dust Scouring Cleanser, a line extension. And typically, packaged goods manufacturers don't produce coupons for such small geographic areas. As Gold Dust the leading national brand, would think it had regional distribution at least. By way, it would have been helpful if you had shown us the full item both front and back. As well as provided the measurements. It appears to have been perforated at the top. Do you think it was torn from a magazine print ad?

I did show the complete front and back. I'm not sure why you think it's not. It's not perforated, it's torn from a page, and from the texture I'm guessing it was a magazine.
As for the distribution area, I don't know of any area, in 1936, that would have people that would fluently read German, Polish, Italian, or Hebrew other than NYC.
