1930s Couch

This is my grandmother's couch, I believe from the 1930s. Can anyone tell me a little more about it and what it might be worth? Thanks!

 

30s or so is spot-on. Basic form is based on a Chippendale sofa, though not a true reproduction. Value is low despite your later upholstery that appears to be in relatively good condition. Most people would want to reupholster and that would be cost-prohibitive in relation to the overall value.

Yes...well...for you it holds tender memories....

for some students it'll hold pizza and beer as they play video games....

 

Yes! I ended up selling it to a couple of college girls for $50 who thought it was very cute.
