All used. The graphics are cool though. The one with the minstrels is really Deco.
I've had them floating around forever and they'd be better floating somewhere else.

Evelynb, all of the cards are lovely.

I was wondering if you have any idea(s) about what social convention at the time was being followed in the signatures shown on the last card (Gaylord and Mrs. Bloom).

Probably addressed to a co-worker or fellow whatever, and signed with the familiar first name and the formal form of the (as of yet unmet) wife. Quite common for the co-worker or fellow whatever to address her as Mrs. even if he has been introduced.

Thank you, Mansons. That thought had crossed my mind but I guess I wanted it to be more fanciful.

In my thinking it played out that Gaylord was living with his widowed paternal aunt who is the executrix of her late brother's estate which Gaylord will inherit in full in five more years when he attains age thirty. ;)

You never know. Could be true. They're fun to look at. If no one snags them I'm tempted to swipe the designs. Then again I have scans....

Will do. I'll let everyone in who wants in and draw on Sunday.

Maybe the last signature was a boy and his mother?

I really like the fourth card, the minstrals. It has the look of a French pochoir stencil print, and the 20s or 30s would fit.

It's hard to be sure at this point; I got these in a random paper pile a while ago. Just in case, can we get a show of hands as to who actually wants them? I know Tauriel does; does anyone else?

I've made hundreds of them. :) If they weighed more I'd ask for shipping, but as it is all I need is a mailing address.

I am also using them this year for my 8 YO to make "Antique" ball ornaments for our tree. He is quite the entrepreneur,... so who knows where it could go :)
