18kgt sparkly necklace

This necklace was in a bundle of jewellery I have just bought. It is stamped 18kgt on the clasp - I know 18ct (or kt) but what does kgt mean? If anyone could enlighten me I'd appreciate it.

 

I think that means it's 18k gold plated though I don't know what the letters "gt" specifically means. Pretty necklace!

I was kind of thinking that too. So that would mean it's not even gold plated? IDK.

If the "gt" means gold tone what would the "k" then mean? Even more confusing (to me at least) is that all the metal in the necklace is silver tone!

I did read several question answer sites, One suggested White gold . A jeweler from china said it was real gold. Let me see who do you believe!

 

I think it's plated on a good day. No one puts rhinestones in solid gold.
