1874 bible

Wondering the rarity of this printing its Rhode Island print most I've seen are PA.

Looking to sell it online or local unfortunately its front and back cover are detached so needs rebind.

I don't know anything about it but I've rotated it for easier viewing.

 

wondering if certain states printed less or is there a state that would be most desirable to have I don't think any of the 1874 are 1st editions

yes thanks just feeling out the boards anyway I always have weird antique find I sometimes need help with. at least I have access to a forum now

 

It's not the state itself that matters - it's the publisher and where they happen to be.

We need more info on this edition to help you. There is probably at least 1 more page in the front that will provide more and better information about it's printing.

It's A.J Holman 1874 in fine print on the 1st illustrated page kinda cut out of this picture guess these are not really collected id give to my local church but pretty sure they have no want or need library wont want either book drop may place it in landfill trash I'd like to toss it in my recycle bin but not supposed to throw bibles away

 

Does this Bible happen to have a family register, filled in? People often wrote the births, marriages, and deaths in their family. If so, somebody might want it. At the very least, there are archives and genealogical libraries who would want photocopies or scans of the pages that list the family information.

 

I sold locally for 40 dollars glad it has a home I'd like to close this topic but seems there isn't a option or I cannot find one.
