1860's cabinet?

    Could some one give me some info on this corner cabinet?
    I'd like to know it's origin and I'm curious about the detail on the feet, specifically on the side of the cabinet.

    Sure looks like it to me,and possibly the original paint.What a lovely ,if massive,piece. ! But wait for others to comment,Im no expert. What part of world are you hailing from?

    Looks right for the time period but would like to see construction details for sure. I don't know about the cut-outs at the bottom but the cut corners, and arched doors makes me think Pennsylvania. The rather wide cornice is probably a good distinguishing feature as well but doesn't ring any bells with me.

    I do believe it is the original finish, it is like alligator
    I'm in Ontario Canada, I do believe it is the original finish as it's aligatored and doesn't show any signs of refinishing.

    I do believe it is from Pennsylvania as other items were at the same location and tagged as being found in Pennsylvania.
