I rarely find pieces like this anymore at sales... Guessed it was Italian and was thrilled when I turned it over and saw the signature.

Was going to list something like, "Large signed Raymor Vase".

Anything I should be adding to that description? Does this kind of glaze have a name? (Kind of bumpy to the touch...)

    Thanks for taking a look.

I don't think I've ever seen one signed.

Nice piece! Too bad there isn't a hole, it would be a great lamp base

Just as an FYI, Raymor didn't make anything, they were an importer. After WWI, they contracted with several Italian potters. I don't know if you would be able to find out exactly who made it. Bitossi was one of the many potters, and I think Walter said that if you contacted them, they might be able to tell you if a piece was made by them.

Thank you for the link, msgood2shoe! This answers a question I had -- I noticed a lot of signed Raymor had an additional name listed, such as Bitossi, etc. I didn't realize Raymor was just the importer.

A good tip to contact Bitossi. Thanks!
