Can’t find hallmark, but jeweler said it is 10k. Any idea on what this is? 8593FEBB-2D46-4884-B0F7-A385281C5287.jpeg 8E2172CD-030E-483C-9CCD-48BDBF06207D.jpeg D08EAB8D-BA1A-4F39-93E9-3D56D70DA0E7.jpeg

Did they tell you what the stones are? If I am seeing correctly, they look like they are rose cut so I would assume this is an old ring.

Did you tooth test the pearl?

She’s right, test the pearl against the edge of your front tooth for grittiness!

I have a hunch you scored. Those look like diamonds to me too.

Be careful if you clean it, you have to find the best way to do it without hurting the pearl.

The usual soft bristle toothbrush ought to be OK, probably dry.

Maybe @Debora or @Hollyblue will know.
I thought pearls with diamonds were a popular engagement ring.
    Pearls symbolizing purity.
I'm thinking this might be late 1800s to preWWI since it is unmarked 10K with rose cut diamonds.

Are the stones really rose cut? The photos are not in focus and look like raw crystals with a couple extra flats. The inside edges of the shank seem a bit off also.

Something odd here... The technology to make cultured pearls wasn't even available until 1916. Seems a bit late for rose cut diamonds which went out of fashion at the turn of the 19th century.

Those aren't rose cuts. They're seriously primitive. The ring isn't older than the 19th century, there isn't enough wear; could they have reused old stones in a new setting?

I don't think they reused the stones. I think it is older - I said late 1800s. Could be more 1840s.
The lack of wear could be for a lot of reasons. Ring didn't fit well, the engagement was broken off, she died early, the list goes on for why it wasn't worn.

The one on the left looks table cut to me. Replacement? All others look rose to me.
