PS-Looks like an above average Absolut bottle to me.With my lowbrow taste I might've dropped $20 for it.

Probably the same one I got, with "Black Youth etc" at the top. We are in Europe. But mos and Brad both posted the photo for us to see.

I love glass,and I wouldnt have looked twice at this.Nothing particularly jumps out about it,but I guess id be wrong !

 

I don't get the aesthetics at all-def not 107K ! UK Friends,sorry you got blocked by USA Today-it's the States national generic newspaper in all the fast food places,Tescos (7-11's),airports,etc.

 

Well, my first impression is that someone tried their hand at fancying up a plain glass bottle. BWDIK? I would've lost out on $100K.

 

I don't see the price regardless, but I'd like to see the bottle. If the colors appear to be a surface treatment, I'd have passed it by, but I'd have bought if the colors are in the glass. Never would have expected that value however.

If I had bought it at Goodwill, the story would be "purchased on eBay for $20."

 

Maybe Goodwill plops one of these on the shelves once a decade as a PR stunt ?

Well,somebody's got to win the lottery-that's one very stealthy piece of priceless glass.

 

I know a little about art glass, but not much. I definitely would have picked this up BUT I would have known to do so because it was marked on the bottom. The difference between art glass and one mass produced I bought at Michael's circa 2002 is one of them bothers to etch a maker and designer line.

 

Lots of the Chinese stuff looks as good to my neanderthal eye.

 

I would not have known this is special.
