Gary McLaren is a native Oregonian with over 30 years' experience buying and selling antiques. Born in Aurora, Gary was surrounded by the world of antiques in a town considered the antique capital of Oregon. With a keen interest in history, he developed a specific interest in antiques and collectibles and opened his first antique store in downtown Aurora at the age of 23. Soon after he decided to pursue auctioneering.

In 2003 Gary opened McLaren Auction Services at the Aurora Colony Auction House where he hosts regular auctions each month.

As a professional auctioneer, Gary has participated in benefit auctions around the state. Organizations are delighted with his friendly banter as well as auction results and they invite him back year after year.
