Featured Fed my spaceflight habit with a necklace... who dunnit?

This is cool. Space shuttle, sun, moon, comet and earth. No marks. I do wonder if it's someone like Kirks' Folly.

 

It's not KF, but in the same ballpark. Best might have done something like that. I don't know anything about them, but they do/did a bunch of themed costume.

 

It was the shuttle that made me buy it. When I ran Star Trek conventions it would have been a very cool thing to wear. I’ll still wear it.

 

It's probably vintage now too, since the shuttles are all retired.

 

That's a lot of fun. I'm glad you're still going to wear it!

 

I love it. Cheap as anything, but it’s very me.

I ran SF cons as a fan, not for commercial profit. Any proceeds went to charity or back into the next one. It was in the days before the nasty commercial folks moved in and rather screwed it all up.

It meant I met some cool people, and got to know some of them rather well. And got on the sets of all sorts of films and tv shows.

 

...& a very bejeweled geek at that!!!

 

You should have seen us. Daytimes were jeans and t shirts, running shoes. But, oh, the bling at the evening disco!
