Small fireplace tool set

    Anyone have any idea of when they might actualy date from.the stand measures 13 inches in height so are compact i would say.

    The style looks rather art deco, so ca. 1919-1939. Probably for a small coal stove.

    Known as a fireplace or fireside Companion Set.
    Yours looks to have been chromed at some point in the past.

    Only last month I counted up around 20 brass companion sets at my lock-up, can't sell them, so I stripped them of steel, brush and wood and will scrap the brass soon.
