Can anyone help me learn about this item?

    Hi all,

    I’ve been gifted this from a distant aunts estate.
    I’d be interested to know anything about it.

    Period, maker, any value?

    I’m not an expert but to me it looks hand painted. It has writing on the bottom which I believe says 6598 but no makers mark.

    I think she kept plants in it.

    It appears to be an antique cache pot. What are the dimensions?
