IMG_6097.jpeg IMG_6095.jpeg IMG_6096.jpeg IMG_6107.jpeg Hi all, found several examples and other versions online. Some with high values (also claiming part of the 21 club story) Only the lower part of the figure is magnetic (so weighted?) Stands about 28cm tall in all (wooden base is 11cm wide) There’s only brown felt at the bottom.Guessing this is a reproduction? What would the possible age be? Maybe 80’s or so? Who’s Alan Black? Just a random person? (Couldn’t find any link) Thank you for any comments

Not a bookend, no flat back to rest the books against.;)
    Maybe even more recent.

Looks to me to be just a momento from horse racing with the thorobreds.
I did a fast search and could not find an exact match with the name. Not a bookend to my knowledge

I sold one a long time ago that was a bobble head but I don't remember the name,

I did a better search and found a Corey Alan Black jockey but I have no idea if that is what you have. Maybe there is a facebook collectors place you can inquire.
Also it may be a bookend, I see many were sold as a pair. They do have value if it was from that 21 Club.
I would dig around some more.

I agree with AJ that it's not a bookend. From the photos provided, the only surface that would touch/hold the books is the base, the figure appears centered on the base... unless it's leaning back? (No side view shown.)
