    Good evening,
@Any Jewelry I have a feeling you might know what this is.
The amber beads glow yellow under UV light, the smaller round brown ones glow green under UV light. The necklace feels light in weight, and the small beads do not feel like bone, more like a seed.
Please could you advise on the origins of this necklace, materials used and age.
I have not poked it with a hot pin, your lesson stays with me :)
    Thank you.
    Kind regards,
    Simona

It is a pretty fashion/costume necklace but not tribal or ethnic in the usual sense, so not my area of expertise.
But I can say this, those end tubes generally mean made in India, although I have also seen these spiral ones on Chinese costume jewellery

I have seen those wedge shaped 'amber' beads in recent Chinese costume jewellery. They are shaped to facilitate the shape of a necklace or bracelet. The beads could have been exported to India of course.
As I said, fashion/costume is not my area of expertise, which means I don't research Chinese costume beads, but I suspect those amber coloured beads are man made. Possibly phenolic resin, much like Bakelite.

As for the brown beads, it is difficult to see detail on the photo, but maybe they are coconut? Coconut beads come in many shapes, sizes and colours, and are often used in Asian and African costume jewellery.

Just an explanation of the terms:

Tribal jewellery is part of a traditional tribal culture, of which there aren't many. Most people in the world don't live in a tribal social structure. Tribal jewellery is traditional and usually rare.

Ethnic jewellery is a broader term, it includes tribal jewellery. It refers to jewellery that is specific to a culture, and like the term tribal jewellery it refers to jewellery that is part of the expression of identity of a culture. Ethnic jewellery is also traditional and usually rare.

Costume jewellery has nothing to do with tradition or cultural identity. It is jewellery that is made to sell, so it has to appeal to a wide public. It is often mass produced, and not rare.
While ethnic and tribal jewellery is made for the people of a culture themselves, costume jewellery is made for people outside that culture.

That said, if tribal or ethnic jewellery appeals to a wider public, it is often made to be sold both inside and outside the ethnic group.
Examples are cuff bracelets from Siwa oasis in Egypt (tribal), and Norwegian sølje jewellery (ethnic).

AJ, you are among the brightest lights here...an' so very often shed that radiance onto aspects of antiquity not often seen by many off us down here on the ground. Your commentary has been a major attraction since I joined, an' I thank you sincerely for every word!

Thank you so much for educating me, I am very grateful for the information shared, especially for clarifying the correct terms used for Ethnic and tribal jewellery.
I’ve decided to attached two more photos, different angles.
