    Hi folks

something i found last week that slipped the net as the hallmarks are tiny

didn't see them myself but just looked right

i think modern and the hallmark doesn't look traditional

the mark is DT 925 with something else after

don't seem to able to find the maker, but the hallmark looks well struck

    any info appreciated

It’s in the style of a Navajo bear paw.

Thirded or fourthed. Made like a bear paw but those aren't NA marks.

A number of modern NA silversmiths now use commercially made stamps and the 925 mark.

Hm. That third mark is a Common control mark, unless I’m mistaken. Someone in the U.K. or Europe channelling Navajo.

There used to be a company in Paris that copied SW NA jewellery but used European marks, it could be by them. At least they were honest about it.

Turkey also makes a lot of SW NA style jewellery, but I believe they only mark the fineness. Turkey is not a member of the Hallmarking Convention, so they don't use the Common Control mark.
