    Hi,
I found this little vase on a flea market in central EU, not far from Italy. It has the Murano glass style, but I'm not sure if it's just a cheap fake vase, or has real value. No markings on the bottom. 20240927_174330.jpg 20240927_174326.jpg 20240927_174319.jpg 20240927_174312.jpg
    Please help!

I think Venetian glass rather than Murano. An attractive piece probably for the tourist market.

Flat leaves = Italian. If the leaves were 3D I'd be thinking Czech glass. (or the other way around?) They both made similar ware with the gilding, flowers and leaves.

Thank you for the info, I will look into that! The leaves are flat, but the petals on the flower are 3D.

There is still a market for this type of glass. It's never been my taste, but some folks love it. But, if for resale, sell it quickly, as I've seen the prices of this type of glass slowly go down over the last 10 or so years. It's just too guady for the minimalist tastes of most young people these days.

    I don't think it's a fake. It's nice but just not a special piece.

I recently put this cordial set in a display case at a mall in Iowa. It has 5 little glasses no more than 3" high. I think it is essentially the same as the vases posted. When I went searching to learn about the style, many pieces like it were identified as Bohemian so I went with that. It sold in less than a week! 20240925_144948.jpg
