I've had this book about a year and haven't been able to figure out the year it was published or the estimated value. There is a note on one of the blank front pages from a previous owner that gifted the book to another person dated 1927. I've looked at comprehensive lists of all the Authors published works but this one isn't mentioned. Any help would be appreciated or even just your opinion about estimated value because I am interested in selling it as soon as I have more info. Thank you.
The title of the book is what it says on the one page: Friendship and other Essays. Custom Binding? for or by the name on the cover, maybe. Seems to have been printed in a number of different formats.

According to the internet, Dodge was a publisher of gift books and calendars. Sweet copy. Pocket-sized. Doesn't appear to have been a previous owner. George S. Jones ordered book and had cover embossed with friend D. Ainger's name probably just before it was given as a gift. You can check eBay completed, sold and current listings to see where collector interest lies. Debora
It was found in Ashland, Oregon in a recycling bin with other items someone was getting rid of. I have found lots of valuable antique books and papers in recycling bins.
