Emerson on Friendship - No date, no comparison online.

I've had this book about a year and haven't been able to figure out the year it was published or the estimated value.

There is a note on one of the blank front pages from a previous owner that gifted the book to another person dated 1927.

I've looked at comprehensive lists of all the Authors published works but this one isn't mentioned. Any help would be appreciated or even just your opinion about estimated value because I am interested in selling it as soon as I have more info. Thank you.

 

The title of the book is what it says on the one page: Friendship and other Essays.

Custom Binding? for or by the name on the cover, maybe. Seems to have been printed in a number of different formats.
