I finally decided to tackle the huge box of repair jewelry today & get it ready to go out the door. :joyful::joyful:

I ended up with 16 1/2 lbs. of assorted stuff all packed into a large flat-rate Priority box. :jawdrop::jawdrop:

This necklace was in the box & I had no recollection of ever putting it there.:rolleyes::rolleyes::p

It is 15 1/2" end to end & the beads are about 7 mm. However, the clasp is not in good condition at all.

Do you think it will sell on its own for restringing or should I just include it with the 16 !/2 lbs. of other stuff?

Thanks for any & all advice or opinions!!:happy::kiss:

Suggest you just include it. It would take soo much work to restore and someone younger will be very excited to find a "treasure" hidden in the box.

Can even label what it is so they don't miss it! :)

A little tough to tell in these darker/smaller photos but the last photo with the internal (?) crack on the clasp bead make me think...glass? I'm not seeing a coral texture either, but maybe you see it better in person. Or is "angel skin coral" also a term for a type of glass bead? :cyclops:

I think it's a cute necklace. I love decorated box clasps. Agree it's probably better than bulk repair jewelry, but idk if it's special enough to be worth selling on it's own. Maybe in a small lot with other style-appropriate pieces?

Thanks for pointing out that damage.

I hadn't even seen the crack in the clasp bead. In the box, it goes!! :p:p
