    Hi,
I found this at my local thrift this morning; it is in beautiful condition & when I went to pick it up, it's bellow opened & a note played .
    So I bought it!
But I can't find another with a similar nameplate - maybe it's the model name?
Does anyone know who the maker is? And is it worth the $125 i paid?!
    Thanks all

Everyone know the old joke? "What's the difference between an onion and an accordion? No one cries when you chop up an accordion."

I always run for the hills when I see accordions at sales. Such a finicky market with a lot of nuance.

I found this sold listing for one like yours. Seems to have been given a once over by a music company.

Thank you Any Jewelry & Sabre 123 - i can breathe a little easier!
Pearlsnblume & Debora - i think a video is a good idea; i will warn ahead that the only time I've played before is when I accidentally let go of 1 side & it "played" as the bellow unfolded when the end fell to the floor!
    Thank you all!!

OK, now...what's the translation from Cyrillic to English for Accordion? A curious mind inquires.

usually the more buttons the better with accordions, means its not a starter/novice model so thumbs up

Thanks - any idea how to tell how old it is?
Also, it has 52 of the yellow & black buttons on lowest side in 1st photo - is those what you count for description?
If so I think mine matches Any Jewelry's link?

Finally, what color green is that?! I'd call it lime green if American & melon or jade green if Asian - for a Russian instrument ? :)

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Apparently it's аккордеон, which is just the letters from our alphabet transliterated into Cyrillic equivalents. -- I assume you meant the translation from English language to Russian language. Other languages use the Cyrillic alphabet, and they may or may not have a different word for "accordion."

Journey - that's MidMod with a vengeance. WOOT!

I'd say apple jade green, but I'm a joolie. Green mother of toilet seat! Old instrument guys will know what that is; it's the pearlized plastic meant to look like mother of pearl and first used to make toilet seats.
