Featured 22 Kt gold plated WISS Model C Pinking Shears

Found this box with Model C Wiss Pinking Shears, they are gold plated and I've never seen anything but Chrome plated. From 1951, with a little blurb from the company.

Reading the insert, I think they went to salespeople - can anyone confirm?

Yes, a trade incentive for a product extension re-launch. And really quite well done. All the required information on the insert including the ad schedule and a reproduction of the ad. Wonder why they had to do it in Spring 1952 when the product was originally launched in Summer 1951 though. Mustn't have been too successful the first time around.

I remember my Mom using her silver colored Wiss pinking shears - I used to love watching them cut thru fabric.
