IMG_5212.jpeg IMG_5208.jpeg IMG_5210.jpeg IMG_5211.jpeg IMG_5209.jpeg Hi, this was about $7 and I really like it plenty. It has a great look. Reverse image search said: Japanese (but I don’t think so) Not hand painted I think, looks like the image was pasted or ‘transferred’ on? Maybe done by someone at home? What do you think about the age? Can it be 70’s or 80’s (I don’t really know) Looks to have some honest wear. It weights about 6kg and stands 34cm tall and 20cm wide at the base. Thank you for any comments

Decoupage. Or a transfer. You can get various mediums to apply that will give the crackle look. I think someone painted an old redware vase and applied the decoration. Decoupage was a hobby that had a resurgence back in the 70s.
