I have had this print for quite a while. I decided to get it a new mat and hang it up.

The print measures 20" by 26". On the bottom left is written Cathedral ED/25. On the bottom right I believe it says Bordard.

I have tried many times to find the artist and the print.

    Can anyone help? Thanks!!! cathedralprint.jpg

Please forgive the crummy photo of the print. The colors are much more vibrant in person.

Though it does look like "Bordard", I'd also consider "Borland" as the artist's name.

I agree , as the 1st R is not attached to the following letter, while the 2nd clearly is...
and the finish of the L differs from the finish of the D..

Thank you komo and blumz. Borland does look more promising.

Cathedral of Notre Dame, looks like, even if the rose window is depicted as an orange slice! Edition of 25.

But that's not how one spells "cathedral" in French. Could well be one of the English cathedrals with a rose window.

I'd doubt a French artist, but minus an accent egu Cathedral Cathèdral... same spelling.

Well, how shy-making! Thanks for the correction. My point is still accurate though. Could be a cathedral with rose window outside of France.

I was wondering if it was Bordarel, but was getting yelled at enough already. :p

I was wondering if this detail represents something real, and if anyone recognizes it.

Maybe Igor Bondarel might be a possibility (artist born 19ct deceased 20th centuary)Not able to find much information, but one painting on Artprice.com.If anyone has access it would help to rule him in or out as artist.
