Portrait of young girl signature

U.K. jumble sale find. I thought it was well done, may have been a street portrait done on holiday in Rome but if so looked as if it wasn’t drawn at speed. Folded up at sometime too. Charcoal or conte crayon perhaps I think. Picture frame size is 23 x 19 inches. The 30 yrs framers are still in business.
I can’t read the signature, any suggestions please? Thanks

Yes, a street artist portrait I'd think. Spent more time on the face and less on her clothing as to be expected. Here's the coat, by way. Very of its time. And quibble... a young woman, not a young "girl."

I bought one of those Afghan coats at the age of 15/16, I can still remember the smell of it!
I would think the artist probably made quite a good living from the portraits he did, pity the signature isn’t more legible. Thanks for looking.

 

Agreed on the street artist assessment. This type of sketch does not take long, especially if you do portraits everyday as your profession.

 

Oh gee, that coat brings back memories. I never had one, but wanted one.
