Been a long dry spell for gold and silver at garage sales, went to one friday and picked up a bunch of stuff including these pretty's. spent a total of 15 bucks for everything so the jewelry was basically free. These are the best pics i could manage at this time. all 14k tested and the diamonds test real. sadly found only one earing in the pile. Great finds!
It's so rare to find diamonds at a garage sale.

Who puts a diamond wedding set in a Garage Sale??? That's highly unusual.

Did you mean to say "Finally" in your title? Obvs, you were thinking of the jewelry.

I find this kind of stuff occasionally. Though usually not as nice as that set! I think they are often inheritance pieces or gifts from an ex they would rather forget about. And the person doesn't know or care about the value. A lot of people are oblivious to things like the value of gold and silver.

The earring is so cute! Could be used with simple diamond stud in the other ear, and act like its a deliberate look.

Someone got rid of Grandma's wedding set! Mid century...I have a very similar one from my grandmother.

Somebody's WWII Generation wedding set got into the Wild. I'm happy SOMEBODY got those who knew what they were. White gold often gets missed.

Dry doesn't begin to cover it here; I go after jewelry too and this was the first weekend I got some probably since July. Nothing like the wedding set though.

Thanks for the comments, got around to measure the stones and the heart pendant was the largest at .25 ct with the main one in the ring not far behind, all told about 1 ct total with all and gold weight about 500 worth. keeps me doing the sales.

Amen. Just shelled out $900 on a garage door opener. It was same day service and the machines are $tupidly expensive now like everything else. The say (cough) food is "only" up 20%, which is a flat lie. I think one big reason tag sales have been so dead is no one can afford to replace anything except outgrown clothes and toys.
