Picked it up today in Alderley Edge for the price of a pint. Although a pint was quite expensive there. The sea kelp hand wash in the gents made it worth it though.

Anyway, it's a reticulated Minton plate 1873 to 1912. I'm amazed none of the pierced parts have hairlines running to the edge as I usually find. It's almost perfect. ∅ = 22cm.

    Sweet!

I have a question, is the company Minton or Mintons (as it is marked)?

It is actually Minton. They used to use the mark 'Mintons' for some odd reason

From thepotteries.org: The name 'Minton' occurs incorporated in many printed marks from 1851 onwards. Basic impressed mark 'Minton' was used from 1862-72. From 1873 onwards 'Mintons' was used.
