Featured Ceramic jar w/rabbit lid

    8" tall, 5" wide at bottom, 2 1/4" narrow at top.
    Outside and inside of jar is glazed, except the bottom.
    Bottom of "strange shaped" lid is unglazed.
    No marks anywhere
    Looking for maker, origin and what it would be used for??
    Thanks very much for any thoughts.

    Lovely whimsical studio pottery jar. Terrific rabbit knopf. No idea why the lid is shaped like that. Maybe others will have an idea.

    Bit of a one off, I think, which may be why there aren't more responses. Too bad the potter didn't sign it.
