    Hi, i can't seem to find this pot and lid in the Bizarre Range does the lid seem original to the pot?

    It's six-sided like the pot? Hum... could be but I'd expect it to be green to match the pot's trim.

    It's octagonal rather than hexagonal - just did a very quick search, but this octagonal teapot appears to have the same or very similar form lid, the color pulled from the main design elements:

    Perhaps if you line up the panels it wouldn't look a bit 'off', as it does. Is there an inner rim on the lid to keep it in place?

    Yes, the brown could be correct as it's the darkest colorway. Placement of lid looks better. And shape is a heptagon*, isn't it?

    * Please note fancy word.

    Thanks for your thoughts Debora yes 7 sided.....
    A seven-sided shape is called a heptagon, which comes from the Greek words hepta meaning "seven" and -gon meaning "angle".Heptagons are also known as septagons, but this term is not recommended because it combines the Latin prefix sept- with the Greek suffix -gon.

    The lid seems to be, but the pot is an octagon. Makes you wonder.

    That'll teach me for showing off. As Alexander Pope wrote:

    And drinking largely sobers us again.
