Featured Triple Strand Ball Chain Necklace with Medallions

I really need help with this one. First off, the medallions do test as silver believe it or not (800 maybe?) and appear to have a worn gold wash. The four cabs are molded glass. The longest strand is 18", including clasp; the large medallions are about 1 5/8" by 1 1/8"; weight is 3.8 ounces. This neckalce remains intact!

 

This is a style of glass bead that is often identified as "Moroccan Matrix," but last time we covered it, it ended at West Germany.

1968 Greiger's Inc catalogue (US company). Doesn't identify origin, but West Germany seems a reasonable guess.

That's a great piece, Wenna. (I'd keep it if it was mine.) Definitely vintage, I've seen similar cabochons on other pieces, but can't say I've seen this construction. Bonus that it is silver. Gorgeous.

Today, different store, different town. I am wearing it as we speak...sorta goes...sorta doesn't. But will find a way to wear it.
