Portuguese pendant medallion

The guy he bought it from told him it was an antique, but he wasn't sure. So he asked me to look into it. Does anyone know anything about something like this? Thanks.

    First Portuguese scouting association was founded in 1913, so, if it is Portugese, it won't be older than that.

    I hope he left some things for me to find during my holiday :D

    I was thinking the same thing, as I had seen a couple of medals (and other items) online with the cross potent, and they were all French.
